RAHEL NAHELY

Rahel Nahely is a Swiss singer and actress with more than 20 years of international performance experience. Alongside writing and performing her own music, she has contributed as a vocalist to a wide range of national and international projects.
Known for her warm stage presence and versatile voice, Rahel combines poetic lyrics, rich melodies and heartfelt storytelling. With a gift for turning the good, the bad and the ugly into song, she creates moments of genuine connection and emotional depth. Inspired by nature and lived experience, her music invites listeners into an intimate and memorable live experience.
A former finalist on The Voice of Switzerland, Rahel has also composed songs for the international music and poetry project Air & Skin. She toured Canada and Europe with her band Rahel N’ Rose and collaborated on the single Run with Swiss singer Cinzia, with whom she has toured as a backing vocalist since 2025. Following her performance of Carl Orff’s Carmina Burana with San Francisco’s Golden Gate Symphony Orchestra, Rahel is currently touring Canada as a solo artist and collaborating with the Canadian band In My Bones.
Her instinct for storytelling extends naturally to her work as an actress. A graduate of the Lee Strasberg Theatre & Film Institute in New York*, Rahel has appeared in a variety of productions, ranging from musical theatre and variety shows to professional independent theatre. Her credits include The Threepenny Opera, Cabaret and the Swiss musical production Space Dream.

From comedy and musical performance to emotionally profound storytelling, Rahel consistently delivers compelling performances across a wide range of roles. She commands the stage as a seductive femme fatale, wins audiences’ hearts as a clumsy, bearded policeman with big dreams, and delights as a spirited young space expert.

In fall 2026, Rahel will appear as one of four midwives in Julian M. Grünthal’s play Into Live, an intimate exploration of the lives behind the profession. Together with Jasmin Clamor, she is also directing the upcoming stage production Sixpack by Renato Salvi, for which she serves as musical director.

As a voice artist, Rahel brings her experience in voice, acting, and storytelling to a range of voice and narration projects, with a particular passion for audiobook narration and voice-over.

Alongside her artistic work, Rahel brings her experience as a sound and voice arts therapist to selected workshop formats.
